Your mission
- You create, structure, and evaluate process plans for components and realistically estimate machining times, setup times, and process sequences
- You proactively contribute your manufacturing expertise, identify hidden efforts, and justify your assessments in a structured manner
- You label and structure prices, suppliers, and process plans to train and scale our PartSpace AI
- You generate and interpret reports and analyses based on manufacturing and pricing data
- You act as the central technical interface between AI development and Customer Success
- You test and validate AI models and ensure they accurately reflect real manufacturing logic
- You serve as the go-to person for manufacturing-related questions within the AI team and bring practical production knowledge into the model logic
Your profile
- You have a technical qualification with further training (e.g., technician or master craftsman) or a completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
- You have at least 5 years of experience in industrial manufacturing, ideally in machining (e.g., CNC turning, CNC milling) or injection molding, and a strong practical understanding of manufacturing processes
- Ideally, you have initial hands-on experience in component cost calculation
- You have experience creating process plans, can confidently read technical drawings, and are able to assess manufacturing processes from a technical perspective
- You can realistically estimate machining times, setup times, and manufacturing efforts and justify your assessments from a technical standpoint
- You think analytically, work in a structured and pragmatic way, and have an interest in AI and data-driven approaches
- You communicate clearly and in a solution-oriented manner and enjoy working in a team
- You have very good German and English language skills
- Nice to have: Experience with ERP, costing, or manufacturing software, or basic knowledge of programming or data analysis
