Your mission
- You identify the right target customers in the DACH enterprise environment and proactively reach out to them via inbound and especially outbound channels (approx. 30/70)
- You independently research accounts, develop them strategically, and build a strong, sustainable pipeline
- You conduct structured initial conversations (discovery/qualification calls), quickly identify real pain points, and lay the foundation for complex sales cycles (6-12 months)
- You deliberately build relationships with decision-makers and relevant stakeholders, developing a strong network within your target accounts
- You work closely with Account Executives, hand over qualified opportunities (SQLs), and collaboratively prepare the next steps in the deal cycle
- You combine structured multi-channel outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn, events) with smart, personalized messaging - no generic scripts, but real value
- You manage your success based on clear KPIs (outreach, meetings with decision-makers, conversion rates) and continuously improve your performance
- You actively collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Product, feeding your learnings directly into messaging and campaigns
- You keep your pipeline in the CRM (HubSpot) clean, up to date, and meaningful
- You actively support account expansion and stay closely engaged with customers throughout ongoing deals
Your profile
- You have completed a commercial apprenticeship, a degree (e.g. in Business Administration, Business Informatics), or have comparable experience
- You bring experience in a B2B SaaS environment as an SDR, BDR, or in Inside Sales, and understand how outbound really works
- Ideally, you have had exposure to industry, supply chain, procurement, or complex/explanatory software solutions
- You can quickly grasp complex topics and make them easy to understand
- You proactively approach people, enjoy cold outreach, and stay persistent even in the face of challenges
- You work in a structured way, manage your day effectively, and steer your performance consistently through data and KPIs
- You build trust quickly - from operational contacts to senior decision-makers
- You are open to feedback, eager to improve, and comfortable being measured transparently against KPIs
- You are hands-on, take ownership, and at the same time are a true team player
- You communicate clearly and persuasively - in both German and English
